One of my long-time professional goals was to, someday, develop an HTML template that could be sold to the masses.

Not for monetary purposes, because at that time I had no idea if it was profitable, but for the challenge itself: create something thoroughly planned, worked in detail, that could satisfy the greatest number of requirements of a simple corporate website.

Finally I’ve got some time to dedicate myself to that challenge.

After spending some time studying Twitter’s API, I ended up developing a jQuery’s plugin capable of obtaining a list of the lastest tweets for a particular account. I did it as generic as possible, so it could be easily implemented in any website… And I decided to share it with you.

One of the most important aspects in any task we perform has to do with the learning process and with the development of a working method.

Is something that is being perfected through experience, and summarizes the definition (or redefinition) of a set of steps to be completed in order to ensure that the project is finished as we want.

Especially when it comes to a large project, it is essential to have the ability to split the objectives into smaller goals, group them into phases and set priorities, for then comply with the maximum rigor as possible.

The numerous projects in which I have worked have helped me create my work method, and in this first blog post, I will share with you how I applied this method, in this same website.
